This research on politics and new media constitutes my undergraduate thesis for the Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires.
Through cultural analytics and the collection of over 25,000 tweets in a database, I analyzed Twitter conversations surrounding the first 100 days of Mauricio Macri’s presidency in Argentina:

I gathered an amount of information impossible to process through close reading and analyzed it as a whole, identifying trends and patterns. By combining cultural analytics techniques from digital humanities studies, I developed a social sciences research approach that allows other researchers to replicate the methodology:
